Praca sygnowana jest nazwiskiem Wojciecha Kossaka, choć dom aukcyjny podaje współautorstwo z synem. Być może jest to prawda bo to jest słabiutka praca jak na Wojciecha. Zadziwia mnie tytuł nadany w Szwecji czyli Polowanie na wilki z sań. Takie polowania na wilki, które same naganiają się pod strzał – to oczami innych nacji – były sportem uprawianym w Polsce.

Portret w pastelu przypisany Aleksandrowi Kucharskiemu, być może na podstawie napisu z tyłu ramy oraz okresu w którym osoba portretowana żyła. Nie musi to być praca ręki Aleksandra Kucharskiego, zwłaszcza, że te powielano często (np. Marii Antoniny). Korzystam z okazji by przypomnieć postać polskiego artysty dodająć o nim broszurkę napisaną przez Jerzego Mycielskiego ponad 120 lat temu.

A. Kucharski (1741-1849), in Warschau als Sohn eines Historienmalers geboren, erhielt er seine künstlerische Ausbildung an der Pariser Akademie, u.a. bei Vien und Carle van der Loo. Seine Arbeiten wurden ausgestellt und prämiert, er entschied sich jedoch gegen die protegierte Spezialisierung auf historische Sujets. Stattdessen eroberte er die höfische Gesellschaft Frankreichs mit seinen Porträts. Unter anderem porträtiert er mehrfach Marie Antoinette und schuf womöglich ihr letztes Bildnis. – Das Pergament im oberen Drittel etwas gewellt und mit zwei natürlichen Unebenheiten oben links (je ca. 2 x 2 cm), im oberen Rand teils aus der Nagelung ausgerissen, Farbschicht etwas berieben. Schyłkowy okres, gdy artyście pozostawało przyładanie linijki do płótna i malowanie powstałych płaszczyzn. Sprawiedliwie przyznam, że wiedziałem dużo gorsze jego prace a mimo to będące obiektem pożądania tych, widzących w tym wielkie odkrycia w malarstwie.

Kanadyjski i emigracyjny pejzaż Rafała Malczewskiego. Odnoszę wrażenie, że artysta mógł mieć jeszcze przed oczami polskie góry, choć ten precyzyjny opis autorski miejsca malowania o tym nie świadczy. Dobra to praca.

Nie jest to dobry obraz Tadeusza Ajdukiewicza, może nawet jest to średni obraz. Prace, które powstały w Rumunii mają w sobie posmak obcej tematyki – chciałoby się zobaczyć w najgorszym przykładzie Kozaka na koniu lub najlepiej naszego wąsatego szlachcica. Pozostaje oglądać nam Rumuna (Bułgara?) w turbanie obok dwóch koni i dlatego 1,500 euro to wystarczająca suma. Handlarz pomyśli inaczej.
