Abraham Adolf Behrman. Praying at the Kotel

Matsart to izraelski dom aukcyjny. Wydawaoby się, że powinni dobrze znać ‘swoich’ artystów a jednak Adolfa Behrmanna uznali za Niemca. Zapomnieli, że ich ziomek został zamordowany przez Niemców i Niemcem nigdy nie by bo gdyby był to by nie został zamordowany w gettcie. Właściciel tej pracy, który chyba zgodził się z takim opisem, jest strasznie greedy. Kupił bowiem w 2019 roku ten obraz w Sotheby’s (pomyłka w katalogu bo wskazują na rok 2021) za $11,250 z opłatami i teraz próbują sprzedać za drugie tyle. Już wiemy skąd wzięła się mentalność polskich domów aukcyjnych i rodzimych handlarzy.
