Niestety, ale przegapiłem miesiąc temu tę aukcję….i szansę zakupu. To jest dokładnie ten okres Łempickej na jaki poluję. Uzupełniam zaległość.

Kontynując poprzedni wpis o Małeckim: …zaś informel Kantora, wyceniono wyżej od wypracowanego oleju Maleckiego. Gdzie tu zdrowy rozsądek? Jak będzie za 100 lat?

Duży olej Władysława Maleckiego mogący stanowić centerpiece niejednej kolekcji polskiego malarstwa XIX-wiecznego został żałośnie wyceniony przez Sotheby’s.

Franciszek Smuglewicz ? Self portrait

Nie wiem na jakiej podstawie przypisano ten olej Franciszkowi Smuglewiczowi. Znany jest portret malarza wykonany przez Piotra Peszkę i ten mało przypomina osobę z obecnego Autoportretu (praca Peszki przedstawia już starszego mężczyznę i brak podobienstwa może można oczywiście tym tłumaczyć). Niemniej, jeśli przyjrzymy się temu ‘podwójnemu autoportretowi’ to da się zauważyć, że osoba sportretowana jest dużo starsza od portretującego i, niezależnie, kolory stroju są inne. Osoba na portrecie bardzo przypomina Maurycego Gottieba, lecz myślę, że to jest zbyt śmiałe z mojej strony porównanie.
