Korzystając z obecności portretu dziecka Teofila Kwiatkowskiego dołączam dwie inne prace tego malarza z wcześniejszych aukcji, których jeszcze nie zdążyłem wprowadzić. Ostatnio daje zauważyć się marazm cenowy w przypadku drobnych prac tego artysty.

Lot 576. Liber Amicorum – Album with 27 original drawings. France, around 1840. Various techniques: among others graphite, pen and watercolours. Mostly laminated, a few drawn on the album pages. Cont. leather with silver-stamped cover title and numerous silver- and blind-stamped rocaille decorations and staggered fillets. Inside edge bands, triple gilt edges, endpapers of moiré paper. (somewhat rubbed, slightly bumped). – With autograph inscriptions by Joseph Bard, Frédérique Jacquard, Jules Pautet, Jh. Ferasse, Louis Moissenet, among others. The magnificent drawings mostly unsigned. One scene by Théophile Kwiatkowsky (Teofil Kwiatkowski), signed as well as dated and located: Baume 1848. The sheets show, besides fabulous botanical and ornithological depictions, among others landscape views in the mountains and at the coast and genre scenes. Some of them are drawn on luxury paper with rich blind-stamped borders. – Partly minimally studio-marked and delicately browned. Altogether very good condition. Estimate 600 euro.
