Maurycy Trębacz. Portrait of a Rabbi

Myślę, że jest to portret ręki Maurycego Trębacza lecz daleko mu do wielkości (magnificent?). Raczej odwrotnie, praca jest słaba i miałka. Proszę poszukać dobrych portretów Trębacza malowanych z pasją. Ten wygląda jakby ktoś mu kazał namalować lub słabo zapłacił. Bardzo cenię sobie Trębacza lecz nie ten portret.

Magnificent portrait by the renowned Jewish Polish artist Maurycy Trębacz.  Maurycy Trębacz (1861 –1941) was one of the most popular Jewish painters in Poland in the late 19th and early 20th century. Although many of his paintings were lost in the Holocaust, a small selection of his artwork survived. Trębacz died of starvation in the Lodz Ghetto. Oil on canvas. 29 by 24 inches.
