Jedna strona Józefa Popczyka to jego kredkowo-kolorowy kubizm a druga to jego nudny post-impresjonizm. Trochę jego prac wypłynęło na rynek w ostatnich kilku latach w cenie od kilkuset do ok 2,000 euro. Obawiam się jednak tej gwaltownej zmiany skóry malarza i dlatego stoję na uboczu.

Podobaja mi się te czarne jagody w wazonie (Blueberries wg. katalogu). Twórca (twóczyni) katalogu chyba nigdy nie wiadział(a) chabrów na łące. Dlatego poiżej widoczek takiej łąki z chabrami oraz z makami (może i maków też nie znają). Dalsza część opisu jest OK.

MOISE KISLING. Moïse Kisling was born in 1891 in Cracow, in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Although his parents intended him to be an engineer, he prefers to go to the SCHOOL of Fine Arts and follows the teaching of Joseph Pankiewicz, personal friend of Renoir and Bonnard. This led him to move to Paris in 1910, where he first settled in Montmartre before moving to Montparnasse where he occupied the same building as Pascin and Modigliani, with whom he became friends. He quickly established himself as one of the main artists of the Paris SCHOOL, notably alongside André Derain and Jean Cocteau. He joined the legion during the First World War, where he met Blaise Cendrars, and was discharged following serious injuries. It is the courage of his conduct that will earn him French nationality. The painting that we present for sale is one of his favourite themes that have been part of his work from the very beginning: human beings (with a marked preference for women), flowers… He strives to create an atmosphere, and to situate his portraits in time, through fashion, hairstyle, clothes…. The modern woman inspires him. The Second World War forces him to flee to the United States, where he lives in California before returning to France and more precisely to the French Riviera. This is where he will end his life in 1953.

Akwarela bigniewa Makowskiego z 1967 roku. Trudno mi powiedzieć, czy ta praca jest dobra, taka sobie czy słaba. Był już wtedy rozpoznawalnym malarzem, nie tylko w Polsce.

Pamiętam, gdy Wiesław Ochman, śpiewak operowy ale też i kolekcjoner malarstwa, przewodniczył licytacji na swojej aukcji charytatywnej w konsulacie w Nowym Yorku. Bywały tam wtedy prace Zdzisława Beksińskiego za 4-5 tysięcy dolarów. Śmierć malarza uwolniła ceny i rozpoczęła się spekulacja na dużą skalę.

Mela Muter, the pseudonym of Maria Melania Mutermilch, is one of the most significant Polish Jewish female painters in Paris in the early 20th century. She studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and the Académie Colarossi under Etienne Tournés. In Paris, Muter swiftly built a reputation as a portrait painter and exhibited her work regularly, first at the Paris Salon in 1902, and subsequently at the Salon des Indépendants, the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, the Salon des Tuileries as well as the Salon des Femmes Artistes Modernes. During her early years in Paris she was associated with the Polish elite Leopold Gottlieb, Wladyslaw Reymont, Leopold Sraff, Stefan Żeromski, and Henri Barbusse, as well as other artists Auguste Peret, Diego Rivera and Rainer Maria Rilke, who would become one of her closest friends. During the Second World War, Muter went into hiding in the South of France, from this point on she created these Fauvist landscapes of the area, such as the present painting. Miniaturowy wymiarami pejaż Romana Kochanowskiego. Obrazek jest prawdziwy i pochodzi z końca lat 20-tych XX wieku lub moze nawet z lat 30-tych. Przedstawienie jesiennego lasu, w słoneczny dzień, położonego nad wodą to był jeden z jego ulubonych tematów. Każdy obraz czy obrazek Kochanowskiego jest inny. Warto zwrócic uwagę na oryginalna, starą, niemiecką ramę w jake zwykł artysta oprawiać swoje prace. Jak do tej pory mniejszych prac w oleju Kochanowskiego nie widziałem, rysunki tak.

Najsławnejsza rzeźba Piusa Welońskiego. Inną, równie znaną rzeźbą jest pomink Chrystusa niosącego krzyż ustawiony przed kościołem Św. Krzyża w Warszawie na Krakowskim Przedmieściu. Cena za rzeźbę Gladiatora wygląda na atrakcyjną.

Ryszard Winiarski. Vertical games 4×4 (12-teilig), 1981

Pomysł z jakim wystapił Ryszard Winiarski przyjął się i jego prace sprzedają się jak gorące kasztany w zimie. Zaprzegnięcie matematyki, statystyki, sztuki komputerowej dało prace do bardzo nowoczesnego mieszkania jako element dekoracyjny, bo przecież przeżywać te prace, zastanawiać się nad ich przesłaniem i znaczeniem chyba nie można. Trochę mnie dziwią te nieustannie rosnące ceny ale to tylko moda na wklejane kwadraciki w białe pola, jaka przeminie bo i inne mody przemijały.
