To jest trochę naciąganie nawet na słowo ‘atrybucja’. Osobie na portrecie chyba daleko do wizerunku polskiego huzara, może bliżej do włoskiego chłopa. Niemniej i tu i tam każdy stara się coś wmówić i coś urwać zdezorientowanemu kupującemu.

Polish Hussar  Oil/canvas, 39 x 30 cm, some rest., relined. – Provenance: Private collection Copenhagen 1911; private collection Sweden. – Polish painter. O. learned painting from J. P. Norblin in Warsaw. He participated in the Polish uprising against Russia in 1794 and found a patron in J. Poniatowski.
