Przedstawienie jesiennego lasu, w słoneczny dzień, położonego nad wodą to był jeden z jego ulubonych tematów. Każdy obraz czy obrazek Kochanowskiego jest inny. Warto zwrócic uwagę na oryginalna, starą, niemiecką ramę w jake zwykł artysta oprawiać swoje prace. Jak do tej pory mniejszych prac w oleju Kochanowskiego nie widziałem, rysunki tak.

Pomysł z jakim wystapił Ryszard Winiarski przyjął się i jego prace sprzedają się jak gorące kasztany w zimie. Zaprzegnięcie matematyki, statystyki, sztuki komputerowej dało prace do bardzo nowoczesnego mieszkania jako element dekoracyjny, bo przecież przeżywać te prace, zastanawiać się nad ich przesłaniem i znaczeniem chyba nie można. Trochę mnie dziwią te nieustannie rosnące ceny ale to tylko moda na wklejane kwadraciki w białe pola, jaka przeminie bo i inne mody przemijały.

The popularity of “Orientalism” in the Western canon is oftentimes characterized by romanticized and amalgamated images of exotic locales, fashions and people. Here, Kossak offers a mysterious and seductive portrait of a veiled woman gazing directly at the viewer. Who is she? Is this a portrait from life, or a fleeting memory from Kossak’s trip? I happen to love the quick, sketch-like character or the painting, which was a hallmark of the artist.”. David Pollack
This striking and seemingly spontaneous oil sketch of a veiled woman was painted by the Polish artist Wojciech Kossak, whose artistic renown stretched far beyond his native land. The sketchy yet carefully detailed technique used here was a hallmark of his style, though such reserved subjects were rare within his typically theatrical oeuvre, which largely consisted of dramatic history paintings. That it is subtly monogrammed with his initials rather than his full name suggests this work may have been intended as a more personal or private endeavor rather than a commission.
Kossak came from a family of artists, as the son of the painter Juliusz. Kossak and the godson of famed battle painter Horace Vernet. He trained in Paris at the École des Beaux-Arts under Alexandre Cabanel and Léon Bonnat, and also studied at the Krakow School of Fine Arts. From 1874-1876, he attended the Academy of Arts in Munich, where he joined a network of hundreds of Polish expatriates and where he found lasting support for his large-scale history scenes. Among his friends here were the artists Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz, whom would greatly influence Kossak, and Michael Gorstkin Wywiórski. Kossak was one of the more than sixty Polish artists who travelled to the Middle-East in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and in 1900 he traveled with Wywiórski to Egypt, where he may have completed the present sketch.

Dwa obrazy Henryka Stażewskiego na aukcji w Ketterer Kunst w Niemczech. Ta praca z 1974 roku to włączenie się artysty do op-artu. Wycena dość niska lub wysoka (zależy od spojrzenia na sztukę Stażewskiego) ale Stażewski cenowo zdecydowanie przegrywa w tym dziale op-artyu ze Stańczakiem. Stańczak, prawie całe swoje życie poświęcił op-artowi a Stażewski stracił nim zaintereowanie lub muza przestała mu podpowiadać. Stażewski bardzo się spalił pod koniec, co widzę na przykładzie jego drugiej pracy (z 1980 roku). Boże miej zmiłowanie nad kupcem tego akrylu bo chyba sam artysta nie wiedział co maluje oraz nad krytykami, którzy widzą to czego ja nie widzę.

W Polsce na aukcjach zaczynają pojawiać się coraz częściej prace Ludwika Klimka. Moja zasługa? Na pewno nie, choć od lat je prezentuję. Robiłem to wbrew autorytetowi z artinfo.pl, który brzydko kilka lat temu mnie obsmarował na tym tle. Zatem…kolejny pejzaż Klimka i bardzo tani.

Raz na jakis czas wypływają na blogu rzeźby Igora Mitoraja. Zwykle są to Perseusze, Heliosy, etc. tłoczone w ilości do 6 tys egzemplarzy i maja one wartość pamiątkarską, choć w Polsce, rządzące domy aukcyjne ustalają u siebie ceny estymacyjne do 10,000 euro. Tym razem na aukcji jest 10 rzeźb tego artysty i jedynie dwie spośród nich wykonane były w ilości 8 egzemplarzy, dwie rzeźby do 30 sztuk a reszta to są wyroby jakie nazywam ‘pamiątkarskie’. W tej kolejności je przedstawiam. Nie mam absolutnie negatywnego stosunku to tego artysty, wręcz przeciwnie. Jedynie widzę, że ten biznes z tłoczeniem ‘pod turystę’ wymknął mu się kiedyś spod kontroli. Teraz, po śmierci Mitoraja, nie wiem nawet kto decyduje jakie rzeźby tłoczy się i w jakich ilościach. Dlatego trzeba uważać co sie kupuje do kolekcji bo można zostać w ręku z jednym z sześciu tysięcy wytłoczonych (nawet nie odlanych) egzemplarzy płacąc duże pieniądze (https://polishartcorner.com/2020/03/19/igor-mitoraj-1944-2014-42/ ). Zastanawiająca jest postać ‘diabełka’ (lot 259) – takiejrzeźby do tej pory nie widziałem – czy to na pewno praca Mitoraja?
