Olej ten był już obiektem nieudanej sprzedaży w marcu tego roku w tym samym domu aukcyjnym, w tych samych widełkach estymacji. Wróżę teraz ten sam resultat, choć ta praca wygląda na prawdziwą. Wydaje mi sie, że Mądra dziewica z lampką oliwną nie bardzo zachwyca odbiorcę swoim przesłaniem.

Wybór prac Menkesa na rynku jest doprawdę duży. Dlatego, jeśli komuś nie odpowiada ta bardzo ciemna kolorystycznie martwa natura z różami (może to sprawa jedynie fotografii?) to niech poczeka na nastepną pracę.
