Pejzaż z Londynu Marka Żuławskiego, obraz bardzo odbiegający swoja formą of tych figuratywnych prac do jakich przywykliśmy oraz jego bardzo znany plakat związany z II wojna światową. Trzeba się jednak upewnić czy ten plakat jest oryginalny, bo wiele współczesnych wydruków było wykonanych.

WORLD WAR II “POLAND – FIRST TO FIGHT” BRITISH PROPAGANDA POSTER.19.5×29.25″ poster features stunning image of tattered, battle worn Polish flag w/”Poland – First To Fight” text as designed by Marek Zulawski, a Polish expressionist and graphic artist from the Academy of Fine Arts of Warsaw, who permanently settled in London in 1936. Poster was issued in England during the early days of World War II, shortly after England declared war on Germany due to their invasion of Poland. Estimate $200 – 400. Hake’s Auctions. 11/06/19
