Wnoszę, że eksperci tego francuskiego domu aukcyjnego odczytali nazwisko artystki na nalepce blejtramu choć można było w rogu obrazu. Takie przypadki zdarzają się nie tylko we Francji. Marzenna Kościółek mieszkała we Francji w latach 80-tych XX wieku i stąd domyślam się obecność tej pracy na rynku francuskim. Rama do tego Piekła przywędrowała jednak najwyraźniej z Polski. Myślę sobie, że artystka odnosi się na płótnie do sytuacji z Francji albo z Polski – może nawet do obu państw. Mója interpretacja tego tytułu Hell czyli Od socjalizmu nie uciekniesz.

Niektórzy będą mieli nadzieję, że jest to jednak niesygnowana i oryginalna praca Zygmunta Ajdukiewicza, czyli da się orzekuć atrybucję francuskiego domu aukcyjnego. Chyba tak nie jest bo w 2017 roku Agra Art sprzedała spory wymiarami obraz tego malarza, sygnowany i datowany (1887) za 142,000 złotych (fot poniżej). Ten obecenie sprzedawany we Francji jest nieźle namalowany ale wygląda na kopię i to w dodatku, malowany raczej nie ręką mistrza. W zasadzie ten wpis jest okazją do przypomnienia tego dobrego obrazu z Agry.

U Hampla w Monachium pojawiło się aż 11 prac Nikifora. Hampel to firma trochę cygańska i trzeba tam bardzo uważać z zakupami. Wśród tych 11 prac jest może kilka prawdziwych (trzy, może cztery) choć większość to falsyfikaty. Ta praca, którą przedstawiam wygląda na dobrą i widziałem już kilka podobnych listów proszalnych tego artysty. Ciekawe, że sama fima Hampel sama zaznacza, że niektóre spośród prac są ‘attributed’ (zugeschrieben), tj. w tym przypadku są to falsy. Ich cennik (cena estymacyjna) właśnie rozróżnia falsyfikaty od prac prawdziwych: falsyfikaty są wycenione tam na 600 – 800 euro zaś prace, wg. Hampla, prawdziwe na 800 – 1,200 euro i wyżej. Bez obejrzenia lub szeregu dodatkowych zdjęć nie warto kupować.

Jeszcze 15 lat temu historycy z polskich domów aukcyjnych pisali głupstwa identyfikując osobę o pseudonimie J (Jan?) Konarski z Alfredem Wieuszem-Kowalskim. Trochę zmieniło się od tego czasu, gdy p. Elżbieta Ptaszyńska w jednej z książek o monachijczykach poleciła udać się do okulisty tym, którzy widzą ten sam pędzel u obu malarzy, sugerując równocześnie nazwisko Franciszka Bujakiewicza jako sprawcę pomyłek. Jak by nie było, nie wszyscy nadal w to wierzą skoro oleje Konarskiego robią oszałamiającą karierę na polskim rynku aukcyjnym. Myślę, że ktoś podszeptuje polskim klientom i domyślam się co się im podszeptuje. Generalnie, uważam, że nic złego nie ma w tym malarstwie Konarskiego, choć to jest okrutny erzatz oparty głównie na Wieruszu, czasami na Brandtcie. Na obecnej aukcji w Niemczech pojawiły się aż cztery prace Konarskiego i wszystkie są porządnie oprawione w ramy co jest ich zaletą. Wszystkie cztery kompozycje to pastisze poprzednich prac Konarskiego i oryginalności w nich nie ma. Ta para większych wymiarami jest podobna do siebie jak również te dwie ‘Wesołe jazdy’ maleńskiego formatu. Innymi zaletami tych prac są niskie ceny wyjściowe oraz popyt w Polsce czyli bonanza dla handlarzy tudzież o niebo lepsza jakość od prac Setkowicza, innego ‘klasyka’ aukcyjnego. Nie mam wątpliwośći, że wylądują przed Bożym Narodzeniem na krajowych aukcjach.

Artysta pracujący poza Polska, były uczeń Pruszkowskiego z czasów międzywojennych. Osiadł we Francji a potem przeniósł się do Anglii. Znany jest głównie z kompozycji abstrakcyjnych. W Polsce bardzo umiarkowanie propagowany na aukcjach. Na obecnej aukcji w Rasmussen pojawiło się aż 18 prac tego artysty, głównie z lat 60-tych XX wieku. Przedstawię je w trzech wpisach by nie tworzyć natłoku.
