Nikifor Krynicki (1895 – 1968)

Nikifor Krynicki. Stadtansicht

Lot 8094. Nikifor – Stadtansicht.

Pozdrawiam, A. G.

Nikifor Krynicki. Postbote

Lot 8095. Nikifor – Postbote. Aquarell und Beistift auf Malkarton. 25,2 x 17,2 cm. Galeie Bassenge. 12/02/23. Sold 11,000 euro

Stanisław Gibiński (1882 – 1971)

Stanisław Gibiński. A Winter Scene at Church

Utalentowany i sprawny akwarelista, wpatrzony m.in. w Fałata.

Lot 607. GABINSKI, Stanislaw (Polish, 1882—1971). A Winter Scene at Church. ca. 1930. Watercolor on paper. Signed lower right. 18 ½ x 26”. Frame (glass): 28 x 36”. Paper toned. Estimate $300 – 500. Potter & Potter Auctions. 12/06/23. Sold $175

Jacek Malczewski (1854 – 1929)

Jacek Malczewski.

Lot 79. WACLAW SZYMANOWSKI (Polish, 1859-1930). Field worker, bronze, incised signature to side of base. Repair to scythe and minor misshaping, some rubbing and patina loss, some oxidation. 16”h, 17-1/2”w, 18-1/2”d. Estimate $3,000 – 4,000. South Bay Auctions. 12/06/23. Sold $7,600

Johann Baptist Matthias Lampi – attr. (1807 – 1857)

Johan Baptist Matthias Lampi (attr.). Portrait of Karolina Hauke née Steinkeller

Sygnatura

LAMPI, Austrian family of painters. Matthias Lampi (1698–1780), the son of a Tyrolean farmer, was a minor church and decorative painter. He and his wife, Klara Margarete Lorenzoni, had 14 children, their youngest son being Johann Baptist Lampi I, who was active in Italy, Poland and Russia as well as his native Austria. Of his three sons and four daughters, Johann Baptist Lampi II and Franz Xaver Lampi (1782-1852) were the most important artists. Johann Baptist the younger followed in his father’s footsteps as a portrait painter, and his style is often indistinguishable from the latter’s. Franz Xaver is also noted as a portrait painter. Johann Baptist Matthias Edler von Lampi (1807–1857), the son of Johann Baptist the younger, was a painter working in Vienna.

Władysław Ślewiński (1856 – 1918)

Władysław Ślewiński. Flowers in a jug on a hot-water bottle table

Adam Setkowicz (1875 – 1945)

Adam Setkowicz. Gänsemagd unter Kopfweiden

Ładna, sentymentalna o optymistycznej kolorystyce kompozycja Adama Setkowicza: wierzby i chata wiejska jak u Jerzego Kossaka a gęsiarka z gąskami jak u Romana Kochanowkiego. Krakowskie wymiary jak w typowej pracy Jerzego Kossaka. Trafi do Krakowa?
