Jan Chełmiński. Pencil Sketch of Napoleonic Hussar, 1917

Rysunek Jana Chełmińskiego, kartka ze szkicownika, mogący komuś pasować osobie do kolekcji innych prac tegoż artysty. Panuje nadal bryndza na rynku spowodowana wakacjami i stąd przedstawiam pracę o mniejszej wartości monetarnej, choć artystycznie w porządku.

Lot 157. Stunning Jan Chelminski. Signed Pencil Sketch of Napoleonic Hussar, 1917. A pencil sketch of a Napoleonic Hussar, signed and inscribed by Chelminski, “á Mademoiselle Yvonne Bonaventure/Souvenir de 1917. Jan V. Chelminski”. 7″ x 9.25″, n.p., dated 1917. The sketch is very similar to Chelminski’s painting of Polish General Józef Poniatowski. This page has clearly been removed from a larger sketchbook, with a slightly rough left edge.
