The work is documented in the photo archive of Galerie Bargera and titled there “Town in Provence”
Over the course of the period she spent working in France, Mela Muter painted numerous images of landscapes and views of towns in Provence, mostly from the area around Avignon. The fascination that this region’s diversity of colours and forms exercised over the artist is particularly palpable in the large-format panorama of a little Provençal town offered here. From an elevated vantage point, an extensive view opens up above the mountainous landscape; lanes with cubic, interlocking formations of houses drop steeply down and away towards a river, perhaps the Rhône. A church tower and the towers of a fortress are also visible, although the precise extent of the townscape remains uncertain. Beyond the river, additional buildings are nestled within a low-lying area, behind which a mountain ridge crowned by a fortress rises up along the numerous thrusting rock formations. The intense light of the south permeates everything depicted here: it is reflected by the white walls of the houses, provides the surface of the river with its radiant cobalt blue and even invests the reddish-brown tones of the rooftops and the earth that define the tonality of the picture with radiant nuances in pink and orange. Pytanie do cytelników zza 14,000 euro. Czy  to jest praca Jerzego Hulewicza? Dla porówniania, olej wystawiony na aukcji w Polsce (Grające fauny), majacy opinię pracownika MN w Poznaniu. W Schloss Alden jest dobra praca czy też mokry kapiszon?

Lot 1705. Jerzy Hulewicz (1886 Koscianki bei Strzalkowo/Polen – 1941 Warschau). Zwei Flöten spielende Faune. Kubistische Komposition mit kristallinen Flächen und einem sich überschneidenden, konturierenden Liniengerüst. Wohl um 1925-1930 entstandenes, in Motiv und Stil typisches Werk des polnischen Avantgarde-Künstlers. Hulewicz studierte zunächst an der Akademie in Krakau, 1907-1910 folgten Studienjahre in Paris und in der Schweiz, 1913 in München, wo er die aktuellen Kunstströmungen der Moderne kennenlernte. Bereits 1907 stellte er in Paris im Salon des Independants und im Salon d’Automne aus. 1917 gründete er die literarisch-künstlerische Zeitschrift “Zdrój”, die an die Berliner Avantgarde-Zeitschriften “Die Aktion” und “Der Sturm” anknüpfte. 1918 schloss er sich der Künstlergruppe “Bunt” (Revolte) an, die bis 1922 bestand und die Ideen des deutschen Expressionismus, des “Blauen Reiter” und der “Brücke” aufgriff. Seine auch vom Kubismus und Futurismus beeinflusste Kunst wird von scharfen Kontrasten, starker Geometrisierung der Konturen, dynamisch kollidierenden Diagonalen und prismatischen Ebenen bestimmt. 1926 ließ sich Hulewicz in Warschau nieder, wo er als Maler und Grafiker, Schriftsteller, Essayist und Kunstkritiker tätig war. Jan Stanisławski ? Landschaft mit polnischem Dorf

Niemiecki Schloss Alden nie bardzo sobie radzi z pracami polskich artystów. Tak było już w przeszłości i chyba tak jest teraz. Źle mi ta praca Stanisławskiego pachnie. Jest nisko wyceniona na Stanisławskiego i ktoś da się złapać.

Lot 1632. Jan Stanislawski (1860 Olschana – 1907 Krakau). Kleine Landschaft mit polnischem Dorf. Mit weichem Farbauftrag und einem impressionistischen Malduktus dargestelltes Motiv, bei dem der Künstler bei diesem vor Ort entstandenen Kabinettbild mit wenigen Strichen die Gesamtstimmung einfängt. Stanislawski gilt als einer der bedeutensten polnischen Landschaftsmaler und Wegbereiter des Impressionismus in Polen. Er studierte in Warschau, Krakau und Paris, wo er bis 1895 ansässig war und stark von Monet beeinflusst wurde. In Krakau übernahm er 1887 die Landschaftsmalereiklasse der Kunsthochschule und führte seine Schüler zur Freilichtmalerei. 1898 wurde er Mitglied der “Wiener Secession” und stellte dort 1901-1905 mehrfach aus. Witold Pruszkowski ? Stefania Fedorowiczowa

Ten konkretny obraz pojawiał się wielokrotnie w przeszłości jako praca Witolda Pruszkowskiego. Chyba nikt nie dał się nabrać (nie śledziłem sprzedaży) i w tej chwili Schloss Ahlden sprzedaje go jako „nach” lecz nie za byle co, bo za wyjściowe 900 euro. Wystarczy przyjrzeć się detalom by przekonać się, że obraz ten warty jest tyle co jego rama,….znaczy niewiele. Poniżej, prawdziwa Stefania Fedorowiczowa z utraconego we Lwowie obrazu Witolda Pruszkowskiego.

O takiej pracy Meli Muter można tylko pomarzyć. Trzeba pamiętać jednak, że niektóre domy aukcyjne, włączając Grisebach, pobieraja już 30% opłaty młotkowej i tyle należy dołożyć do ceny wylicytowanej. Są domy aukcyjne nawet bardziej złodziejskie, kradnące teraz 36%. Polska zapewnie wkrótce dołączy. Czy nie czas kupować i sprzedawać gdzie indziej?

Zygmunt Olesiewicz (Jean Olin). Jeune femme dans son jardin

Ciekawy obraz Zygmunta Olesiewicza, którego twórczość jest praktycznie nieobecna na polskich rynkach. Trudno odnieść się do ceny proponowanej przez Millon bo ta może być pochodną opublikowanej fotografii tej pracy sprzed prawie 100 lat z wystawy w Paryżu. Może to być jeden z najlepszych prac tego malarza a może tworzył później znacznie lepsze? Inne dwie jego prace, przedstawione na blogu, zamykały się znacznie poniżej 1,000 euro.

Niewiele można zobaczyć z fotografii katalogowej obrazu nr 478 Stefana Gierowskiego – biała powierzchnia. Dopiero przybliżenia pozwalają na dojrzenie detali (dwa z nich załączam). Cena wyjściowa jest żenująco niska. Można spodziewać się pobicia ceny estymacyjnej.

Lot 91. Stefan Gierowski, Gepunktetes Weiß (Kropkowane białe), großes Ölgemälde von 1978, im Kastenrahmen Stefan Gierowski, 1925 Czestochowa, einer der bedeutendsten Vertreter der polnischen avantgardistischen Malerei. Ausbildung an der Akademie der Bilden Künste Krakau. Von figürlichen Anfängen kam er in den 1950er Jahren zur abstrakten Malerei, wobei seit den 1980er Jahren geometrische Formen und intensive Farben seine Gemälde bestimmen. Das Nationalmuseum Posen veranstaltete im Jahre 2000 eine große Retrospektive, hier: Großes Längsformat, in der Länge zweigeteilt durch eine plastische, weiße Ölfarben-Linie und in der Breite dreigeteilt durch unbemalte, weiße Streifen. Dadurch entstehen 9 Felder, mit feinen blauen, gelben und roten Farbsprengseln gefüllt sind, Öl/Lw., links außen Mitte eine ca. 12 cm lange Leinwandbereibung, 68 x 200 cm, verso sign. u. dat. 1978, in einen weißen Kastenrahmen verschraubt. Kilka dni temu zakończyłą się aukcja innego arcydzieła Henryka Stażewskiego. Nie było chętnych za wyjsciowe 18,000 euro (https://polishartcorner.com/2020/09/22/henryk-stazewski-1894-1988-32/ ). Ta praca z Ketterer jest wyceniona niżej. Może ta jest gorsza skoro jest niżej wyceniona?
