Straszna nędza ten obraz. Przyłożony z tyłu stempel z Pałacu Sztuki wcale obrazowi nie pomoże. Bardzo źle namalowany i wątpię by wyszedł spod ręki Jerzego Kossaka.

Lot 1900. Kossak, Jerzy. Husar auf Patrouille. Öl auf Karton. Signiert und datiert unten rechts. 1927. Bildgröße: 34 x 24 cm. Gerahmt: 37 x 26,5 cm. In lockerem Duktus gemaltes, charakteristisches Motiv von Jerzy Kossak (Krakau 1886-1955), der aus einer der bedeutendsten Künstlerfamilien Polens stammt. Er spezialisierte sich auf Soldaten- und Reiterszenen, oft vor dem historischen Hintergrund der napoleonischen Befreiungskriege. – Der Malkarton verso zweifach gestempelt “Palac Sztuki Warszawa Antykwarnia”. – Der Karton gewellt, angestaubt und insbesondere im Bereich des Himmels etwas fleckig, leichte Rahmungsspuren. Dla miłośników historii. Miniatura – portret hrabiny Cosel (Anna Constantia von Brockdorff. 1680 – 1765), faworyty króla Augusta II Mocnego, osoby znanej również z powieści Józefa Ignacego Kraszewskiego, że nie wspomnę o filmie polskim z główną rolą Jadwigi Barańskiej.

Lot 13. A portrait miniature of Countess Cosel. Half-length gouache on paper portrait miniature laid down on a metal panel. Depicting the countess dressed in a low cut dress and an ermine-lined blue velvet cloak. With an indistinct contemporary inscription on the reverse. 6.2 x 5 cm. In a later tortoiseshell surround. The frame backing inscribed: “Dieses Gemälde der Gräfin Cosel stammt aus der Sammlung des Fürsten Jablonowski” “Nr. 1015”.
