“Roman Kramsztyk studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Cracow under J.Mehoffer, and later in Berlin and Paris, where he remained since 1910 (with break in 1914-1922). Every year he went to Poland, where he participated in exhibitions. He was also a co-founder of the Rytm society. In his earlier years Kramsztyk painted still lifes and southern France landscapes.
