Israel. Signed lower right, inscribed verso. Circa late 1940’s/early 50’s. Jehudith Sobel (1924 – 2012) Kibbutz Amir was established in 1939 by Polish and Lithuanian immigrants. Sobel was active in the Israeli art scene from the end of the 1940’s into the early 1950’s and would have visited Amir during this period. From a Queens, NY home. Dimensions: 30″ high x 36″ wide. Condition: Small loss upper right, other good, untouched condition. Could use a cleaning.
