Bukiet kwiatów w białym wazonie, skromnie oprawiony i bardzo nisko wyceniony, ma pierwszorzędną proweniencję domu pianisty Artura Rubinsteina. Artysta ten był zaprzyjaźniony z wieloma polskimi artystami i czasami trafiają się na aukcjach obrazy z jego kolekcji.
Warto również odnotować kolejną obecność tych samych Mimóz Mojżesza Kislinga. tym razem we francuskim Tajan (06/18/25, lot 38). Obraz ten, tak jak i poprzednio, nie ma certfikatu Marca Ottaviego (co to oznacza to chyba dobrze wiemy), za to ma mocną wycenę €100,000 – 150,000. Artysta o bardzo ciekawym i burzliwym życiorysie. Pierwsza wystawa jego prac w USA odbyła się w New Jersey na katolickim uniwersytecie Seton Hall i niemal zakończyła się skandalem. Władze uczelni po obejrzeniu wystawy zażądały jej zamknięcia doszukując się w abstrakcyjnych pracach artysty treści pornograficznych. Wystawy jednak nie zamknięto a nawet z niej ukradziono jeden z obrazów co Hilary Krzysztofiak uznał za sukces zainteresowania i podobno nie domagał się rekompensaty. Sprzedał wtedy na wystawie kilka swoich prac.

Różnice pomiędzy kopią słabego i mdłego kopiarza-syna a pracą Władysława Szernera (1836 – 1915) jest widoczna bez pisania zbędnych słów. Niemniej, prace Władysława Karola Szernera są wyceniane i sprzedawane na poslkich aukcjach niemal jak oryginały ojca. Taki to jest krajowy rynek.

Te obrazy Jerzego Kossaka to straszna nędza. Jedynie w krakowskich galeriach będą je sławić bo chyba tam dotrą. Pierwsze dwa były wielokrotnie powielane jak wspomniane niedawno “Napady wilków”, https://polishartcorner.com/2024/09/16/jerzy-kossak-i-jego-napady-wikow/. Trzeci to naiwna ucieczka kawalerzysty przed atakiem wilków, spośród których ten trafiony kulą jest prawie dłuższy od konia jeźdźca. Być może ten czwarty obraz, z 1930 roku, jest subiektywnie nalepszy i nie wiedziałem jego duplikatów. Może przypominać addition do serii prac z cyklu “Wesoła wojna”.

Malarz praktycznie nieznany na rynku antykwarycznym a i na tej religijnej pracy nikt się nie pożywi. Może dlatego zainteresowałem się nieznanym mi wcześniej Paulinem Gardzielewskim i jego nielicznymi pracami, które przetrwały. Spora notatka biograficzna o tym artyście w Słowniku Artystów Polskich. Aukcja Ecole de Paris w Millon przed przerwą wakacyjną. Zadziwia obecność aż pięciu prac Meli Muter, które sprzedał 25 lat Wojciech Fibak kolekcjonerowi ze Szwajcarii. Jedną z nich jest chyba najlepsza wersja Macierzyństa tej artystki. Na polskim rynku była inna wersja, bez proweniencji za to z kilomertrowym opisem, by po fiasku znaleźć się we Francji, dyskutowana na PAC: https://polishartcorner.com/2025/04/09/maria-mela-muter-1876-1967-35/ . Ostatni olej tutaj pokazany nie ma proweniencji i bardzo mi odbiega od pozostalych prac; niezdarne kreski na wodzie po lewej stronie stwarzają wrażenie mocnego spadku wody.
