Te dwie akwarele Edwarda Dwurnika nawet mi sie podobają, obie sa z 1968 roku i swoją satyrą bijatyki przypominaja mi nieco wydarzenia marcowe.

Akwarela ta ma bardzo silną proweniencję lecz autorstwo chyba w katalogu Kollera ulegało ewolucji: od Franciszka Smuglewicza do atrybucji. Wnosić można, że nie zachowały sie żadne informacje piśmienne (nawet anegdotycznego charakteru) oryginalnego zakupu. Przypisanie tej pracy Smuglewiczowi wymaga dyskusji z historykiem sztuki zajmującym sie profesjonalnie malarstwem XVIII wieku. Zainteresowanie tą pracą było słabe i została sprzedana poniżej widełek wyceny. Akwarelę być może kupił pasjonat zarania polskiego malarstwa albo też cudzoziemiec fascynujący się odkryciem Pompeii. Współcześni artyści podpisują swoje obrazy wołami na odwrociu aby autorstwo nie budziło wątpliwości. Dawniej, malarze dość rzadko kładli sygnaturę i jej brak pobudza obecnie do dyskusji o autorstwie.
