Lot 5. Miron DUDA (Nowy Sacz 1893- Pruszkow 1950). La partie de cartes. Huile sur toile 46 x 55 cm Signé en bas à gauche “M. Duda” Porte au dos sur la toile l’annotation “59 (2) 115”.
Miron Duda, naît à Nowy Sacz, au sud de Cracovie en 1893. Il reçoit l’enseignement de Wojciech Weiss à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Cracovie de 1913 à 1914 puis de 1917 à 1922, où il rencontre alors les « Formistes ». En 1924, une exposition personnelle lui est consacrée à la galerie Zachęta de Varsovie. Miron Duda séjourne à Paris entre 1924 et 1938. Il expose notamment ses natures mortes au Salon d’Automne. Il s’intéresse particulièrement au genre du nu féminin et à la représentation de la femme à sa toilette. En 1939, il retourne en Pologne. Après la guerre il participe à des expositions et peint notamment des portraits, des paysages mais aussi une série de peintures illustrant les horreurs de la guerre. Estimate 2 000 – 3 000 €. Aukcja w Millon była nieźle reklamowana w Polsce i dlatego ograniczam się do przedstawienia zaledwie kilku wybranych prac. Miron Duda to stosunkowo mało znany w Polsce artysta i zaledwie garść jego prac była obiektem obrotu antykwarycznego. Trzy prace z francuskiej aukcji były chyba najlepsze z tych jakie widziałem i zainteresowanie nimi było niezwykle duże. Spore odkrycie na rynku polskiego malarstwa.
