Signiert und datiert.Signed and dated. – Probably from a sketchbook. With handwr. number in upper richt margin. Reverse with handwr. annotation “9 avril”. – The Polish painter Jan Styka studied at the academies in Rome, Paris and Krakow. He is known for his large-scale historical, battle-related and Christian religious panoramas. – Right margin uneven. Slightly browned due to paper. Well preserved. Estimate 600 euro.
