Wolski-66

Wszystkie te trzy prace są bardzo, bardzo amatorskie.

Trudno mi było zrozumieć górne widełki wyceny prac w domu aucyjnym Auctionata, np w przypadku Wolskiego jest to 910 euro. Okazuje się, że jest automatyczne dodanie 30% do dolnej wyceny. Stąd taka niezwykła ‘precyzja’.

Na ‘okazję’ wygląda trzeci z Wolskich na aukcji w Szapiro wyceniony o połowę niżej bo tylko na $400-500. Co prawda mniejsza to praca ale nie należy przecież mierzyć powierzchnią zamalowaną farbą (2,070 cm3 vs. 1,405 cm3) ideologicznie identycznych arcydzieł. Daje się zauważyć brak dowartościowania prac Wolskiego w USA porównując do Niemiec. Może to zatem okazja by kupić tanio w USA a sprzedać przez Auctionatę.

The paint surface has darkened somewhat. The inspection under UV light reveals several small touch-ups to the margins. Otherwise, the painting is in good condition. The frame is slightly chipped.

The paint surface has darkened somewhat and shows some small stains and framing marks. The inspection under UV light reveals several small touch-ups to the lower margin, as well as a touch-up lower left. Otherwise, the painting is in good condition. The frame is slightly chipped.

Piotrowski war in Berlin Schüler von Wilhelm Henschel. 1842/43 hielt er sich in Italien auf, wo das Gemälde wohl entstand.

Nach einer Begegnung mit dem Pferdemaler Julius Kossak, begann Józef von Brandt 1862 an der Münchener Akademie sein Studium der Malerei bei Franz Adam und Karl Theodor von Piloty. 1867 eröffnete er sein eigenes Atelier und wurde bald mit seinen Kosaken und Reitermotiven einer der gefragtesten Künstler, um den sich eine Gruppe polnischer Maler scharte, darunter auch Alfred von Wierusz-Kowalski und Ladislaus von Czachòrski. Seine Motive fand von Brandt auf seinem polnischen Landgut, wo er während der Sommermonate die Reiterkämpfe beobachtete. Unser Gemälde zeigt eine beruhigtere, aber dennoch spannungsgreiche Szene mit einem Trupp vorrückender Kosaken in einem lichten Wald, die einer Attacke entgegensehen, wie der aufhorchende Jagdhund im Vordergrund anzeigt. Trzy miesiące temu, w tym samym domu aukcyjnym, ta sama praca została wyceniona na 900 – 1,170 EUR (co za precyzja wyceny górnych widełek; trzeba mieć doprawdę głęboką wiedzę by zobaczyć wartość płótna w tej końcówce 70 euro!). Prawdopodobnie praca nie została sprzedana bo pojawia się na nadchodzącej aukcji, znowu w Auctionata, z wyceną 1,500-1,950 euro. Łatwo policzyć, że  widełki wyceny, dolna i górna wzrosły doładnie o 67%.

Zobaczymy co będzie za kolejne 3 miesiące.

Condition:
The painting is in a good condition, consistent with age and use. The stretcher measures 61 x 92.5 cm. The frame has light marks with tiny losses of material and measures 85 x 116 cm.

Leszek Piasecki (1928-1990)
Piasecki was born in Lvov, where he attended the School of Applied Arts. He also received artistic training from Stanislaw Batowski and Zygmunt Rozwadowski. He then continued his studies in Katowice. From 1951 he was a student of the Academy and trained by Ignacy Pienkowski, Fryderyk Pautsch, Jan Hoplinski and Jerzy Fedkowicz. Around the same time Piasecki became acquainted with Jerzy Kossak, the son of the best Polish horse painter, Wojciech Kossak, and his future teacher. After graduating he settled in Górny Śląsk. From 1956 to 1962 Piasecki worked as a graphic artist for the magazine ‘Panorama’, while he also established himself as a history painter. In 1974 he emigrated with his family to Austria, where he settled in Vienna. Since then he has mainly focused on depictions of battle and horse scenes.

Mało znane nazwisko polskiego malarza. Pan Sławomir Bołdok w jednym ze swoich artykułów http://www.artinfo.pl/pl/publikacje/artinformacje/nasi-tworcy-z-xix-xxi-wieku/  tak napisał o nim:

„Zaintrygowało mnie nieznane nazwisko autora obrazu – Kazimierz Rubolowski. Okazało się, że był to Polak nazwiskiem Gaworczyk, urodzony w 1919 roku, który przybrał nazwisko Rubolowski. Pochodził zapewne z Piotrkowa Trybunalskiego ponieważ na Starym Cmentarzu w Piotrkowie jest jego grób z napisem: „Kazimierz Rubolowski, profesor artysta malarz z Istambułu, żył lat 77, zmarł 30.VIII.1993 r.” Był profesorem na Uniwersytecie w Stambule, gdzie zapewne uczył malarstwa, wystawiał w Turcji oraz w Genewie w 1969 roku i w 1989 w Nicei.”
