Rafał Olbiński wybił się swoją sztuka’poetycznego surrealizmu’ w Ameryce, a następnie dowiedziano się o nim w Polsce. W tej chwili jego obrazy stanowią do pewnego stopnia klasykę, poszukiwaną w Polsce bo taka jest tam moda. W USA jego obrazy mozna ‘trafić’ czasami tanio na aukcjach i to stanowi wielką zachęte dla handlarzy bo w kraju zarobek może się potroić. Ja stoję na linii bocznej bo to malarstwo do mnie nie przemawia.

Trochę niespodziewanie i nienaturalnie panuje martwy okres na rynku i dlatego proponuję obejrzeć prace, które niedawno spadły z aukcji lecz pojawiła się teraz druga szansa ich kupna. Nie są one złe a jedynie zabrakło na nie chętnych.

Może nie osiągnął wówczas ceny rezerwowej? Obecnie cena wyjściową jest jest dużo nizsza a cenę szacunkową stanowi przedział $14,000 – 28,000. Trochę rozsądniej.

Być może obecnie da sie ja kupić taniej skoro wyjaśniono, że to fragment kościoła krakowskiego a nie Zamek w Warszawie? Krakusi, do licytacji!

Ten obraz był na aukcji we Francji w 2014 roku z dużo wyższą wyceną. Ja sam mam problem by ocenić, który z Gąssowskich go malował: Artur czy Aleksander? Nazwisko stosunkowo rzadkie.

Kalifornijski dom aukcyjny Clars Auction Gallery wrócił do oleju Karola Witkowskiego sprzed ponad roku (https://polishartcorner.com/2019/09/16/karol-karl-witkowski-1860-1910-10/). Jeszcze kilka lat temu prace Witkowskiego osiągaly w USA dość wysokie ceny. Obecnie widać spadek, choć te prace nie są gorsze od podobnie realistycznie malowanych w tym samym okresie prac innych polskich malarzy z terenów Polski. Może warto się zainteresować by zaimportować do Polski by rozpowszechnić tego byłego ucznia Matejki? [Ecole de USA?]

Artysta malarz i ilustrator amerykańskich czasopism. Prace Rafała Olbińskiego nie są już tak rozchwytywane jak 10-15 lat temu. Ceny też spadły poniżej $10,000 co było nie pomyślenia dekadę wstecz. To już trzecie podejście od kwietnia do sprzedaży tego konkretnego obrazu. Poprzednio wylicytowane $6,500 nie kupiło tej pracy. Prawdodpodobnie trzeba dołożyć $1,000. Widać na tym przykładzie słabość przemijającej mody.
