Niewiele prezentuję prac Leszka Piaseckiego. Na rynku dominują pojedyńczy ułani na koniach i w dodatku bez tła. Malarz podobno pomagał Jerzemu Kossakowi i stąd podobna tematyka. Niech jednak ktoś spróbuje mnie przekonać, że ta konkretnie praca Piaseckiego jest gorsza od niejednej podobnej Chełmińskiego. 2,000 koron szwedzkich to jedynie $200!

Lot 0093. LESZEK PIASECKI (1928-1991) – polish painter, learned in Lvov (now Ukraine) in the Szkola Przemyslu Artystycznego and privately – with Z. Rozwadowski and S. Kaczor-Batowski. In years 1946-1952 was studing in ASP in Krakow with F. Pautsch, I. Pieńkowski, J. Holiński and J. Fedkowicz. Friend of Karol Kossak, who sometimes cooperated with. From 1794 living in Vienna. Author of portraits, batalistic scenes, Horsens and hunting scenes. Due to this subjects sometimes was called “Viennese Kossak”. Exhibitions in Warsaw, Krakow, Moscow, Odessa and several Times in Veinna.

Oil on canvas, depicting the tent of Arabic nomads (male and female), with woman sitting inside and man standing and feeding the horse. Signed “Leszek Piasecki”. Dimensions: frame 64,6 x 53,1 cm. Visible part of the painting 38,3 x 27,2 cm.

Trzy miesiące temu, w tym samym domu aukcyjnym, ta sama praca została wyceniona na 900 – 1,170 EUR (co za precyzja wyceny górnych widełek; trzeba mieć doprawdę głęboką wiedzę by zobaczyć wartość płótna w tej końcówce 70 euro!). Prawdopodobnie praca nie została sprzedana bo pojawia się na nadchodzącej aukcji, znowu w Auctionata, z wyceną 1,500-1,950 euro. Łatwo policzyć, że  widełki wyceny, dolna i górna wzrosły doładnie o 67%.

Zobaczymy co będzie za kolejne 3 miesiące.

The painting is in a good condition, consistent with age and use. The stretcher measures 61 x 92.5 cm. The frame has light marks with tiny losses of material and measures 85 x 116 cm.

Leszek Piasecki (1928-1990)
Piasecki was born in Lvov, where he attended the School of Applied Arts. He also received artistic training from Stanislaw Batowski and Zygmunt Rozwadowski. He then continued his studies in Katowice. From 1951 he was a student of the Academy and trained by Ignacy Pienkowski, Fryderyk Pautsch, Jan Hoplinski and Jerzy Fedkowicz. Around the same time Piasecki became acquainted with Jerzy Kossak, the son of the best Polish horse painter, Wojciech Kossak, and his future teacher. After graduating he settled in Górny Śląsk. From 1956 to 1962 Piasecki worked as a graphic artist for the magazine ‘Panorama’, while he also established himself as a history painter. In 1974 he emigrated with his family to Austria, where he settled in Vienna. Since then he has mainly focused on depictions of battle and horse scenes.

Sezon ogórkowy w pełni stąd wzięła mi się praca Piaseckiego. ‘Orka’ mało ciekawa z pierszoplanowymi trzema końmi i oraczem wyglądającym na niemieckiego Bauera. Poza tym, domek z czerwonym dachem, niebieskie niebo z białymi chmurkami i chyba sad po prawej stronie. Bardzo, bardzo niewybredny dekorator ściany może kupić tę pracę. Wycena wysoka ale nie podano wymiarów pracy i stąd myślę, że mogą to być hekatary płótna (złośliwy tutaj jestem!).

Dużo pracy artysta włożył by wymalować tak rozbudowana scene obozowiska (jarmarku) ale ta praca nie przełożyła się na wartość monetarną. Praca ta jest słaba. I tyle.
