Zastanawia mnie datowanie tego rysunku tuszem (1962). Dominowały jeszcze wtedy u Jana Lebensteina Figury osiowe a tego typu rysunki zaczęły chyba pojawiać się później. Rysunek przeszedł niezauważony wobec wyjściowej ceny 1,400 euro.

Figura osiowa #127 z 1961 roku (olej) oraz dwie późniejsze prace na papierze Jana Lebensteina były przedmiotem aukcji w izraelskim domu Tiroche. Dobre malarstwo artysty który był niepokorny i chyba dlatego do dnia dziejszego jest niedoceniany. Lebenstein nie ma dobrej prasy takiej jaką mają ci artyści, którzy obłapiali władzę czerwoną by przy zmianie wiatru przepoczwarzyć się w męczenników i opozycjonistów systemu.
