Weg durch tief verschneiten Winterwald bei Sonnenuntergang, dünn lasierende Malerei, Öl auf Leinwand und Keilrahmen, um 1950, rechts unten signiert “Wiktor Korecki”, gering verputzt, ungerahmt, Maße ca. 50 x 74,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: polnisch-ukrainischer Landschaftsmaler (1890 Kamjanez-Podilskyj bis 1980 Milanowek), Schüler des Gymnasiums in Kiew, studierte an der Akademie Kiew bei Nicholas Muraszki, anschließend Rückkehr nach Kamieniec Podolski, ab 1921 freischaffend im eigenen Atelier in Warschau, 1944 Zerstörung des Ateliers während des Warschauer Aufstandes und Deportation in ein Zwangsarbeitslager nach Leipzig, 1946 Rückkehr nach Polen und tätig in Komorów, später in Milanówek, Quelle: polnische Wikipedia.

W Polsce Korecki jest lansowany dla niewybrednego klienta i ceny powolutku idą w górę. Wyjściowe ceny aukcyjne na te dwie prace to jedynie $150, tj. mniej od ceny dobrego współczesnego plakatu. Może jednak w sumie szkoda i tych $150.

Zaczynam mieć coraz większe przekonanie do prac Koreckiego porównując je do Chmielińskiego (równanie w dół). Zresztą jest to złe porównanie bo u Koreckiego każda praca jest inna i nie spotyka się kopii z kopii z kopii z kopii… Ma on zresztą swoją grupe zwolenników bo w sumie malował polskie krajobrazy. Ten duży wymiarami widoczek da się pewnie kupić za $400-600.
