Dwa oleje Tamary Łempickiej. Martwa natura budzi mój wielki szacunek dla prostoty, formy jaką bardzo cenię, tej z lat 30-tych oraz przechowywania pracy przez artystkę, chyba aż do śmierci. Druga z prac, to typowy ‘money maker’, kupowany ‘na inwestycję’. Obraz jest sprzedawany i przechodzi z rąk do rąk jak tylko na horyzoncie pojawią się coraz większe pieniądze. Praca ta powstała już w późnym okresie artystki i stąd cena dość umiarkowana. Najlepszy okres łempickiej i najdroższy to ten z lat 30-tych. Lot 27. TAMARA DE LEMPICKA (1898 – 1980). LES DEUX AMIES V. Signed Lempicka (lower left). Oil on canvas, 26¾ by 15 in. (68 by 38.2 cm). Framed: 31¼ by 19½ in. (79.4 by 49.5 cm). Painted circa 1974. Condition Report. The work is in excellent condition. The canvas is unlined. There is a minor loss to the pigment in the upper left corner. Under UV light, no inpainting is apparent.
