Magdalena Abakanowicz. Anatomy, 2009

Abakany można zawieić na ścianie i zawsze będą stanowiły dekorację, jak obrazy. Natomiast rzeźby Magdaleny Abakanowicz, z pełnym szacunkiem, nie widzę w mieszkaniu. Myślę, że jej miejscem jest muzeum i wystawa twórczości artystki. Kilka dni temu zbiór rzeźb z cykly Anatomia spadł a akcji w Niemczech a wcześniej w SDA w Polsce. Może inni podbnie myślą tyle, że po cichu.

Dwie jednostkowe rzeźby Magdaleny Abakanowicz w Sotheby’s. Zastanawiam się czy podobne, spore wymiarami rzeźby trafiają do domów ‘przeciętnych’ kolekcjonerów czy też składu ‘inwestorów’ a może w większości do muzeów? Mniejsza rzeźba może znaleźć swoje miejsce w nowoczesnym i dużym mieszkaniu/domu lecz co zrobić z taką dwumetrową? Mierzę się ze światową sztuką oczami własnego metrażu.

‘Seek and ye shall find’ to temat tej aukcji w domu aukcyjnym na Florydzie. Podobne domy, nie tylko zresztą amerykańskie, charakteryzują się hasłem, które kiedyś widziałem na jednym sklepie z antykami: „we buy all junk, and we sell high-end antiques”. Może wprzypadku tej aukcji przesadziłem, lecz należy zauważyć, że ceną wyjściową tej ponad dwumetrowej rzeźby Magdaleny Abakanowicz jest $5,000. Jeśli nie znajdzie się odpowiedni kupiec to dom sprzeda za tę właśnie cenę a może nawet niżej. Sam w ten sposób kupiłem kiedyś rzeźbę bardzo znanego artysty, jednostkową, poniżej ceny złomu brązu z którego została wyskonana, lecz broń Boże jej tutaj nie reklamowałem. Aby nie doszło tutaj do przypadkowego zakupu, bez walki aukcyjnej czyli załamania cen, staram się niniejszym rozreklamować tę pracę Magdaleny Abakanowicz. Aby jednak nie przeczyć samemu sobie, tj. nie negować tego o czym dawniej pisałem, jakakolwiek moja reklama na PAC lub jej brak nadaje się psu na budę.
