Antoni Kozakiewicz. Polish rider with two women and a white horse
Zgrabna scenka rodzajowa Antoniego Kozakiewicza, którą jestem przekonany zobaczymy wkrótce w Polsce. Kozakiewicz zaczynał bardzo dobrze w Krakowie jako malarz znakomitych portretów, lecz później w Monachium spłycił warsztat tematyczny malując i powtarzając w różnych wariantach scenki rodzajowe pod kątem kunsthandlerów, które chyba dobrze się sprzedawały. Trudno mu to zarzucać bo żyć trzeba było ale trudno też równocześnie nazywać tego rodzaje prace wybitnymi czy też jako właściciel być bardzo dumnym z ich posiadania.

Obraz uchodzi za autorstwa Jerzego Kossaka, choć czerwonoarmijec z czerwoną gwiazdą na czapce stojący obok konia byłby ewenementem w jego twórczości. Dużego zainteresowania nie było a obraz był autoryzoway przez Bonhams-US. Praca ta nie cieszyła się powodzeniem ($800) i konia z rzędem temu, kto starałby się ją odkupić w Polsce (może ambasador Rosji?).

Lwowskie przekupki Erno Erba namalowane bardzo grubą pastą. Dość typowa praca tego artysty i sporo podobnych jest na rynku. Może dlatego obraz spadł. Oferta 600 GBP była za niska.
