Moim zdaniem jest to najlepsza praca Tadeusza Wasa z tej serii  aukcyjnej. Może dlatego, że jest to reportaż żołnierza spod Monte Cassino.

Lot 626. Tadeusz Was (Polish, 1912-2005) – ‘Italy 1944’ (depicting three soldiers) Black ink on paper, signed and titled, approx 18x28cm, framed. NB: This will almost certainly be a scene of the battle of Monte Cassino of which Tadeusz was involved. Tadeusz not only fought in the Polish Army but also acted as war correspondent, he would be involved in the day to day battles and at the end put down his rifle and pick up his artistic instruments and aproduce work such as this.
