Do tej pracy potrzebna jest druga opinia, najlepiej p. Bogdana Karskiego: https://nikifor.naiveart.pl/ autora artykułu https://sztukipiekne.pl/refleksje-na-temat-falszerstw-prac-nikifora/. Dla mnie ta akwarela wygląda jakby dopiero wyszła spod pędzla artysty. Walka o nią była żywa, podobnie jak o niedawnego ‘Fangora’. Zobaczymy jak inni ocenią tę pracę o ile oczywiście się odezwą.

Lot 8094. Nikifor – Stadtansicht. Aquarell und Gouache auf zwei aneinandergeklebten, strukturierten Velinkartons, mit farbiger Papierumrandung und Garnöse. 26,4 x 36,4 cm. Oben links mit Pinsel in Schwarz unleserlich bezeichnet, verso mit Bleistift unleserlich bezeichnet. Der Künstler Nikifor, der Sohn einer taubstummen Bettlerin, zog, selbst schwerhörig und sprachgestört, als obdachloser Maler und Autodidakt durch die russisch-orthodoxen Dörfer Polens. In jungen Jahren begann Nikifor, vermutlich im Alter von 13 Jahren, mit dem Zeichnen und Malen. Er nutzte für seine Kunst verschiedene Materialien wie Bleistifte, Packpapier, Notizzettel oder Zigarettenschachteln und verkaufte seine Bilder an Gäste, die den Kurort Krynica besuchten. Aufgrund des Papiermangels waren seine Bilder anfangs oft kleinformatig und er fertigte die Bilderrahmen selbst aus Papier an. Um die Bilder aufzuhängen, benutzte er Garnösen. In den 1930er Jahren wurde er von der Kunstwelt entdeckt. Im Jahr 1998 gab die polnische Regierung Briefmarken mit Illustrationen von Nikifor heraus, da sie sein Schaffen seit 1945 aktiv unterstützte. Nikifor gehört heute zu den bedeutendsten Autodidakten in der naiven Malerei Polens. Komentarz czytelnika:

W sobotę w niemieckim domu aukcyjnym Galerie Bassenge licytowane były dwie doskonałe prace Epifaniusza Drowniaka. W obu przypadkach byłem underbidderem, walcząc na telefony z drugim (jak mniemam) kolekcjonerem. Pierwszą (pejzaż miejski) odpuściłem przy 7k euro, licząc że może uda mi się wylicytować kolejną, gdzie ponownie musiałem skapitulować przy 11k euro. Aukcja ta ustanowiła chyba nowy rekord cenowy Artysty.

Obie prace to w mojej ocenie obiekty klasy muzealnej, rzadko pojawiające się na rynku.

Pejzaż stanowi rozbudowaną kompozycję, na której podziwiać możemy mnogość obiektów sakralnych (tu chyba zadziałała sfera wyobrażeniowa Nikifora). Autoportret zaś jest o tyle oryginalny i nietypowy, że przedstawiony jest w sztafarzu zimowym. Obie prace wyglądają na wczesne i mogły powstać w latach 30., a może nawet 20. ubiegłego stulecia.

Oben und unten mit Pinsel in Schwarz und mit Bleistift unleserlich bezeichnet.  Die bevorzugten Themen des Künstlers Nikifor sind Architektur, Landschaften, Kirchenräume und Heilige, wobei er sich gerne in den Bildern als Hauptperson (Bischof, Richter, Arzt, Kaufmann) darstellt. Als Vorlage benutzt er oftmals Ansichtskarten oder Ikonenbilder. Um sein Analphabetentum zu verbergen, schrieb er Buchstabenfolgen oder einzelne Wörter in seine Bilder.
