Sanguine and charcoal on cardboard, signed and located lower left, vertical fold in center 38 cm x 58 cm (view), framed Great painter and draughtswoman of Polish origin. One of the most important and original representatives of the Ecole de Paris (Ewa Ziętek. Les Polonaises a Montparnasse, Paris, 2022). In Paris from 1905, she quickly gained recognition, and from 1907 began exhibiting at the Salon d’Automne and the Salon des Tuileries. Guillaume Apollinaire highlighted her talent after seeing her work in an exhibition in 1910, in the Passage Ronsin, alongside Van Dongen, Matisse, Marie Laurencin and Bourdelle. Irène Reno’s works can be found in numerous museums in France and abroad, including the Musée des années 30 in Boulogne-Billancourt, the Musée de Dieppe, the Musée du Havre and the Musée d’Art et de l’Histoire du Judaïsme in Paris. Mamy w końcu ustalenie cen rynkowych na prace Ireny Hassenberg-Reno. Dziesięć prac rysunkowych tej artystki z lat około 20-30-tych było licytowanych we Francji i wszystkie zostaly nieźle sprzedane. Najwieksze zainteresowanie wzbudziły rysunki z Nowego Jorku. Być może do tego zainteresowania przyczyniła się również książka Sylwii Zientek Polki na Montparnassie omówionej niedawno przez p.
