Provenance : Mirabelle Dors and Maurice Rapin collection then by descent. She was an excellent portraitist and was quite prolific during the 1930s painting many well-known figures as well as people she encountered in her daily life. The woman in the portrait is wearing a shawl over her shoulders that Muter used in another painting of a female figure.” Estimate 8,000 – 12,000 euro. Vermot & Associes. 06/20/23. Sold 23,000 euro
