Leszek Pindelski – Three-quarter Length Portrait of Renata Maria Wachowiak, pastel, signed, dated and inscribed 1916, 68cm x 48cm, within a painted and gilt wood frame, together with a charcoal with watercolour portrait by Stanislaw Korzeniewski featuring the same sitter. Note: the Polish artist Leszek Pindelski was the sitter Renata Wachowiak’s brother-in-law. He was killed in action during the Kampania Wrzeœniowa (September Campaign defence of Poland) 1939.
