In 1903 he joined the Kunstverein and was also a member of Munchener Kunstler Genossenschaft. He was friends with the Polish writer Stanislaw Przybyszewski and took part in exhibitions at the Warsaw TZSP, Salon Krywult, Lvov and Krakow and Poznan TPSP, as well as exhibiting in Munich and Berlin.
