Władysława Kierzkowska, also known as Ada Kierzkowska, was a Polish textile artist. In particular, she created tapestries that are stylistically similar to painting and lyrical abstraction. In the 1950s, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1962, she was able to work on the 1st International Tapestry Biennial in Lausanne, which contributed to the worldwide dissemination of Polish artificial textiles and their creators. For her tapestries, she often used raw wool, always dyed herself, in warm tones, which she tied by hand to create small-format works. In her rejection of the weaving boat and her preference for free forms, she broke with traditional weaving techniques. Her works have been exhibited not only in Europe, but also in Asia and America.
Polecam uwadze abstrakcyjny gobelin Władysławy Kierzkowskiej z niemieckiej aukcji. Jest abstrakcyne prace wyglądają na przemyślane i wypracowane trudną tkacką pracą a nie przyłożeniem linijki do płótna z pociągnięciem równo przy niej pędzlem.
